Cree LED sidlight bulbs.

I replaced my 'normal' LED sidelight bulbs for a pair of Cree LEDs.

These things are really bright. :smt119

They also compliment the colour of the HID better.

Epic Monkey 17-05-12 09:35 PM

Ah booo! :( I ordered mine on eBay and got them today. Connected them up and they are indeed über bright. However. Mine were too long to fit in. I'll order the amazon ones you linked to and send these back. :(

Just wondering how you have your main lights off, mine are on all the time.

Turn the key all the way to the left (past the steering lock) when the bike is parked, it puts just the sidelights on for when you want/need them overnight (in the dark) when it's stationary.

As much as I like Cree LEDs, 200 lumen at night will be seriously dazzling to on coming traffic, but probably good as Daytime Running lights. Auto dim at night anyone?

Re: Cree LED sidlight bulbs.

Depends which Cree, the xm-l for example has like 140deg view angle IIRC so not like a directed main beam.

The wording is unclear, it shows two in the pic, but describes one
