Mate of mine lands on his face
Someone more cleverer than me finally put this on youtube.
It's at Swinley Forest on the "Deerstalker" run. It's funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvYRPjOp99s |

Ooops, though using your face is the most effective method to decelerate.

And that's why bicycle helmets are no good. How many times do you fall of a bike and hit the top o your head?

Re: Mate of mine lands on his face

Re: Mate of mine lands on his face
The bloke is pretty bullit proof, I have witnessed him have some nasty crashes at speed and always gets away with a few cuts and bruises.

Re: Mate of mine lands on his face
Why do people even think about touching the front brake when they are in the air ? , I`ve always maintained that entry speed needs to be set at comfort-zone levels and get that weight over the back wheel ..... saves all the aggro of picking half the trail out of ya yap .
Then again I`m a fine one to talk , lost a contest with a large 200 year old tree , my shoulder wasn`t quite strong enough to even make the bark a different colour |
