Please can you enable the videos to be viewed on mobiles? Im at Donnington for the first time next Tuesday and would like to watch them to get an idea of the place.

Nice riding! I'm hoping to get on a minitwin grid sometime in the next year or two.

Re: Bemsee Donington GP inboard footage

Yeah I'll be at brands, hopefully in both classes again. Just getting bike ready now after my muddy experience. Need to try and sort out my brake fade I was getting, not sure if there will be £300 worth of value in new discs...?

M65, video is fine in terms of track layout but looking back I'd change some of my lines, I go in too tight in a lot of places.

Scythe 92, all I can say is just do it, when you've got the bike and it meets requirements, just rock up, there's enough people with help and tools to get you out of trouble and I have got loads of spares and used very few of them (touch wood....). Your bike will be as fast as you can go, not the other way round

Re: Bemsee Donington GP inboard footage

to answer the question about cost, entries for your main event over two days £260 practice day on friday £147 (6 sessions) fuel for van and bike, average £150 to £170 . this is the basic cost, assuming the bike is on fresh rubber and no crashes are suffered and no spares are purchased . you can race cheaper with other clubs , but if you have a minitwin rules sv , bemse is where you need to be, full grids of quality riders that will bring you on and make you fast... rob:D

Re: Bemsee Donington GP inboard footage

so its around £600 pound for the whole weekend as long as theres no crashes or break downs?

How hard would it be to turn a road going sv into a race bike? e.g engine tuning, fairings, lock wiring etc etc

Re: Bemsee Donington GP inboard footage

Tyres come to £280, fuel just for bike is probably £40, obviously travel to circuit depends on your comparable location. The Friday is optional, I tend to just do the pm session which is half the price. Turning the road bike can be as cheap as you make it, you can pick a fairing up for uder £100, no engine tuning aloud, lock wire costs pennies, then you can spend what you want on the most appropriate area for you,

You should pop down to brands hatch on the 17th 18th come and have a look for yourself
