ZX2 in the UK?

Want!

What are the chances...
About the same as your chances of winning the lottery if you spent 4.2million pounds on tickets.

Re: What are the chances...
I've ridden one. With a sensible exhaust the novelty value of revving the nuts off it soon wears off. With an exhaust like that I suspect something else would intervene first....

Re: What are the chances...
There's a mint one of the bay for 4 grand, and a cbr250 for 2k.
Both rev to 19k, they reckon 45hp too which is nice going! |
What are the chances...
That's hilarious.
All mouth no trousers! |
Re: What are the chances...
I loved it, never knew of one of those before tbh, what a great sound.
On the other hand, I reckon I'd like to stab the bloke after about 15 minutes listening to his awful voice though. |
Re: ZX2 in the UK?
Why do you think he's got such a daft pipe.
Anyway there are a few grey imported 250s in the UK and they've all been owned by 17 year old muppets, thrashed to death and just generally about as much of a good buy as a secondhand 125. Added to the fun and games of tiny, highly stressed components doing 14 squillion rpm to set off from a stop... errrm.... rather you than me mate |
ZX2 in the UK?
I want one. If nothing else just to pull away from busy cafés at a bazillion revs and 30mph. Would turn some heads and tickle some funny bones.

Re: ZX2 in the UK?
I saw one of these on my ride into work one day, well the ZX2R with normal sportbike fairings. They are absolutely the dogs danglies. The bloke was revving up to about 10-12k just to take off from the lights, sounded like he was starting a F1 race, but was doing sensible city speeds.
I really want one. |
Re: ZX2 in the UK?
In terms of getting your own, yeah there are a few kicking around ebay and autotrader. Most of them were bought originally in Malaysia, indonesia and places like that. You might (and I stress might) be best off looking at buying one out there and shipping it over. There they are ridden by the types of guys who ride 600's or SV's here. Though I stress this is not first hand knowledge, just gained from youtube fu.
