Im just going to pootle down there this year, with the other half. Not going to organise anything. However, a meet up down there is doable...i'll be the one on the bike wearting leathers...shouldnt be to hard to spot ;) Well, my bike is easy to spot. Blue and orange with a Twin renegade shotgun system on it :D

yep, i'll br there..... cos i live in hastings!!!! :? we are trying to organise a stand for SERV ( motorbike blood running charity) on the seafront. feel free to come over with tea, coffee, food etc for me or some loose change for the charity!

I'm so annoyed, I gave blood twice then had my accident and had a full transfusion so I cant give any more :cry:

I'll probably mooch up to Locksbottom then amble down, not on the A21 mind as its full of tossers usualy and im not going to be taken out my some daft R1 muppet that only got his bike out of moth balls that morning. I shall be wandering off down via bexhill or similar.

Would anyone mind if I taggeda along with em on mayday down to hastings. I know folk meet up at locksbottem but with the A21 resembling a carpark would anyone be leaving from Riverhead on an alternative route.

whatever is happening would like to ride with fellow sv'ers

I never ride the A21 past Tunbridge. i go off down the A267 or that way, and come in on the coast road from Bexhill

I will probably be in the Nettos car park in Locks bottom.

i am going! but it might be on my own! some of my mates are going to the pod and the others are normall skint! so maybe we could do a sv650.org rideout???

waves at rubbermonkey. I will probably be starting from Riverhead with a Pan and possibly mate on a Gixxer. Cant be arsed to start from Locksbottom tbh. This year I may detour at Flimwell, head down to Rye and go into Hastings on the A259. Not decided yet.

You could do, just dont do the A21 past the Blue boy pub. It gets very very packed and imho dangerous. Its best to meet at the begining, then make a meet point at the end. There is no way that a group of bikes can do the final part of the ride.

Disagree with that. Rictus, TSM, Moriarty, Spiderman, Myself IIRC though Ive probably forgotten someone, managed it last year. :D

A large group on the other hand probably would struggle.

Nope stayed with the Scorpion. Was going to put one on the CBR then it got totalled, so theyre still sitting in my hallway. :? :(

this will be my first ever mayday run! i was invited last year but never went but i am more than up for it this year!

well i shall be in ashford with my mates, we have rented a huge house between the 8 of us from the 28th april - 1st may dunno if i will get to actual hastings run tho i have a feeling we will all be passed out of sleeping perhaps still partying :lol:

I wont be going this year as i have to work (booo). Went last year and was a good day out.
