Re: I have a confession..

Is that the bennetts 1 in wales? I got the email to go on that one 2, signed up for it some time last year, then got an email back in january but can't make it due to my exams being next week. so I would have no chance of revising, plus I'd want to stay the full time, but monday Is my first exam. Please let me know how it goes tho.

I cleaned mine the weekend before last, for the first time since October... then took the wheels off and hosed it with ACF50 (using a compressor and paraffin gun). Looked quite nice, for a while- that'll do it till May :)

You better hope that in that time it hasn't grown a mind of it's own and been out joyriding without you!
I mean, if you'd left a sock unsupervised that long there'd be a new civilisation claiming independance from the Crown and admittance to the EU!:D

Naaa, it's at my brothers, he rides a Z1 so can't handle anything more spirited ;)

Or are you saying my personal hygiene leaves a bit to be desired (wondered why I got a couple of bottles of smelly for my birthday:smt043 ).

Cheers Mark.

Neither had I, it was entirely buried under a crust of filth. It turned out it's green! Who knew?

Mine is foul at the moment. Covered in sawdust (as well as the mud/road grime under that) courtesy of my builder. He's a biker himself, so you think he'd know better. Oh well, a quick blat round on it should shift most of it. :)

Re: I have a confession..(bike cleaning)

Owned my beaut for 2 1/4 yrs and only washed it "properly" ONCE ! that was after returning from France when it rained for the whole trip and we returned looking like...........well if you imagine a tractor thats spent 24 hrs working non stop in a very muddy field - well we weren't that clean !
These days its my Sunday morning paly thing that only comes out in the dry - so the only fluid it gets these days is WD40, GT85, ACF50 and gallons of Autoglym !

Re: I have a confession..(bike cleaning)

Have to say- I'm more on top of cleaning my bike than any of the cars I've owned.
It must be love! :smt055

I get upset if the weather's crappy on the weekend and I can't give her a scrub.

Ahem...
