Names for other bikers

Anyone else make up names for other bikers (who they don't know)

On my trip to work I regularly encounter:

Mr Deathwish - Rides a KTM supermoto, filters very fast and very aggressive, makes his own "gaps" rarely wears proper kit.

Mr Miserable - FMX 650, never waves or nods although I see him every day.

Mr Friendly - VFR800 always pulls along side at the lights for a chat. Sadly not seen him for a while as he restores my faith in the human race a little bit with his friendliness.

Re: Names for other bikers

Other than "numpty" nope, I don't give people a lot of names (that I can post on a u-rated forum).

Oh, there's "miserable git" as well.

Other than that it's more "where are you going?" or "what are you up to?"

Re: Names for other bikers

I've got my very own Ghostrider on my way to work :)

Black leathers, black lid, tinted visor (always), either on a Gixxer 1000 or a Bandit 12 depending on the weather, filtering through the tiniest of gaps at warp 4, if we meet at a set of lights (He goes the opposite direction to me) he pulls a wheelie when he spots another bike .... nutter :D

Re: Names for other bikers

I was going to name the guy on the BMW with the ultra-wide panniers Gandalf - "Thou Shalt Not Pass" - as he filters slowly and won't let other bikes pass him. Except that last night he did move over and let me past.

Re: Names for other bikers

"Friendlyplod" Copper who always waves, even if you don't instigate it.

Oldreliable - Old boy on an old shape Triumph Sprint, who is friendly and courteous and rides well.

The Blue and White Clown - Almost like a comic book charicature of a bad weekend warrior sportsbike rider, but he commutes (in one piece leathers). Matching everything, 2006 blue white and black GSX-R1000, loud pipe, fast in a straight line, can't go round bends, can't filter, never goes to the front at lights. Cannot stand to be overtaken and if you filter past him while he's stopped, you can guarantee he will do licence losing speeds down the next straight bit of road to catch up with you.

I saw a pair of white R1's the other week, both brand new. The two riders had all matching gear and matching each other too. I thought I was seeing double to start with. :D
