Drag racing at North Weald ---everything from trucks to nitro scooters
I have been before and it is an interesting day out,cost about £10,not to far,starts at 10:00am[ish]
Meet up at Boreham 10:00am---about 20minute ride to North Weald or see you there if that is to early
Its only £15:00 if you want to enter and see how quick you really are---------or are n't
ANYBODY INTERESTED------------------------weather permiting that is

I'm sure its the 19th though coz I've got an exam on the 19th and will be at BSB at snetterton on sunday the 20th....
I might make it for the afternoon as my exam is in the morning.

Oooh, sounds fun. I may well be up for this... I need a hand getting my chain tightened first tho. I just don't trust that I'll do it right on my own atm... :smt108

Its a lovely ride there, if you go A414, via Ongar through towards Harlow, lots of lovely twisty A roads :riding: :smt003

So far two of us def going so does anybody else want to confirm so I know who to wait for at Boreham

N.B.The A414 has major road works so a bit of filtering might be needed

Alternatively if you want to meet there look for a white Mercedes Sprinter racehome at the site as we will not be far from this

Well...I set off at about 11 to North Weald, the tailback from the roadworks on the 414 started at the Marconi roundabout :o at which point I weaved through the traffic on the roundabout and turned back and set off for a ride back home via Great Leighs and Coggeshall instead! (didnt fancy all that filtering - I need a new clutch as mine is biting a long way out and wont adjust anymore :rolleyes: )

But I did try :D

Just Spankyham an meeself but I knew about the roadworks so we dropped down to Brentwood and went up to Chipping Ongar joining the A414 with one 15sec delay--------------Local knowledge wins again:)
