In all honesty, that matt black pointy would be worth paying though the nose for. If it didn't cost so much I'd get mine sprayed!

Is the radiator not standard K5/6 ?(with a cover)
Why's it got pillion pegs with a seat cowl?

Those indicators are quite common (sidelight conversion) I've got it for my bike, just haven't put it on as I don't think they would be very effective (5W)

Just checked the gallery, it's in catalog 41, November 2005. That predates my finished modding by a good year plus.

Yes, my amazing stealth bike has a cunning cage camouflage feature. lol.

Looks like a standard rad with a s/s cover and side rad pods added. It does look nice but I think the s/s should be black as well.

Oi, mine has a seat cowl and pillion pegs! :mad: lol

Though I wish I had a black GSXR now...

I still really can't see why, other than through personal choice re safety & awareness on the bike. Nothing to stop you IMO, other than you not wanting to take the risk. Which is just as perfectly acceptable as choosing what colour of bike anyone buys.

I saw a totally matt black R1 yesterday at Burnham........looked PANTS !!

Looked like someone had preped the black paintwork ready for another coat.........

My eldest daughter has a Gixer 600 K6 in black, it does look the absolute danglies with the Arrow race can (bit of pipe) she's fitted.

Yep it was on the Bandit mania stand at the NEC in November 2005. I saw it in person and it did look the dogs danglies.

Apparently it started out as the standard SV blue before it was resprayed. I had a long chat with the owner about it and I have to say that I loved the bike.
