Because I am selling the bike so I can ride further than 100 miles in one go before I suffer complete numb **** syndrome.

Getting a blackbird or a Busa.

Sad to hear the SV is going danf - you've sort of been my inspiration for tweaking the SV.

I understand your point about numb bum in 100 miles. Totally agree with that.

Re: Hydropro Progressive springs SV650 03-06

It just aint a real touring bike. There is no long distance comfort on the bloody thing. I have only found out by doing some long distance rides and it bloody killed me.

Great for short blasts though.

WooHoo - so you getting a tourer too? Or just going to bend the SV to your will?

I wish I could afford 2 bikes. The money I would have lost made me cry.

Anyway I am looking at getting the bagster seater to try and help with the numb **** syndrome. If you seem my other tread I am trying to get some info on it.

Anyway bike goes in on Friday for front and rear shock suspension upgrades.

Back to the modding,

Re: Hydropro Progressive springs SV650 03-06

Hmm that is a long way. My best effort was N.Wales and back in a day, ~400 miles. I could have gone further and with breaks distances are do-able on an SV. But it's never a bike you'll just ride and ride only stopping for fuel.
