I think it's a wee bit too pretty, though I do love it.

Here's some further reading:

Much prefer Nudist and Johnny SV's bikes to TLR709's, they're maybe not as interesting build-wise but they're bikes I'd rather own.

It all looks fine. Apart from the drastic measures to keep the back end clean. Just makes a complete mess of the front.

I know it's a TL, but aesthetically at least, you could do this:

http://sickestbikes.dyndns.org/galle...Moto/TLS_Evo4/

to a curvy. Aside from the headlights I really like it. Shame it was nicked a couple of years back and hasn't reappeared since. :(

I'd want to be paid to take that away! not that i'd ever make a bike vanish for payment or anything like that 8-[

That bike needed stumpy cans and it would have been finished. Or a belly pan exit system, I like those.

yorkie_chris 16-12-07 11:52 PM

Re: street fighter photos

The bellypan has been done before, was in streetfighters in October (maybe, I'll dig around...) that was a TLR, same lump though, apparently its a bit harder on a twin as you end up with different length headers which hurts power.

Wonder if the single sided swing arm fits in without much work... Im guessing its off of a Triumph 955i of some type?

Re: street fighter photos

I think its been tried, but the SV shock is offset which complicates things.

Having a TIG welder handy would probably make the job much easier :p

Heh im not planning on doing it, the insurance love taking my money as it is... Just wondering how much work these people have to put in. :D

I think quite a few put the work in elsewhere and paid a nice man to make them one :smt003 Tygaboy made his though I think, as well as his own carbon fibre bodywork. He's kind of my hero :riding:
