for the money you cant go wrong with the carbon can co or fuel cans both are very similar in quality! or if you want to something abit different the beowulf cans are very nice imo.

They alter your foot and leg position a bit more up and back to give you better ground clearence and a sportier body postion, they are probably alot stronger too, but the fully adjustable ones can be set to your personal preferences rather than the crappy stock pegs that you have to deal with. :D

Try a pyramid undertray. I had one fitted to my old SV and it kills two birds with one stone and doesn't require any cutting as far as I remember (although confirm this with them first).

Cheers,

Paul

Rearsets can be good crash protection too... Or alternatively, the fixed pegs can snap off entirely, or they can break the mounting lugs off the frame  But they look good. I find mine more comfortable too, I'm more locked into one position but it's a naturally comfy one, on long journeys it removes the temptation to sit badly.

But, with £200... Exhaust can, is what I'd get.

what should i buy?

witch sounds the best?

Re: £200 pound buring a hole in my pocket!

TBH they all sound good, the only can I'd stay away from is Blue Flame..

Have a read of the threads in the exhaust section, you'll find it here

http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=137

On your sort of budget if it were me, I'd be looking for either a "Fuel" or "Carbon Can Company" exhaust. should find one cheap enough. They are around the £110 ish mark, so you'll have some pennies left over out of your budget, If you're a new rider, spend the rest on yourself and do a bikesafe ro sign up to IAM.

If you can stretch a bit past your budget, then have a look for a Remus exhaust, My other half has one on her K5 and it sounds really nice.

:smt041 I love my topbox, exactly as much as I hate my top box, because it's exactly as ugly as it is practical. But anyone who needs one will probably know without asking I reckon.

It's when you go shopping... Put lid, gloves and back protector in top box, bliss. Then when you get back, throw all your messages in the boot, no mucking about with bungees, no heavy rucksacks... Magic. Plus, there's a certain extra frisson to overtaking other bikes while top-boxed up.

Course, I take it off as soon as possible afterwards, and hide it ;)

I couldn't have one as long as the Taste Police are still active in my area. Besides, I'm too young, don't stink of pi55 and don't own a BMW.

Topboxes are a no-no.

Haha - "Messages".

You're a Scot, obviously.

My ex-burd used to call her shopping "messages" - gorgeous girl who was into rubber/latex and stuff like that, so I could forgive her abuse of my language.
