Hang on. I thought it was ice cream not fruit. Speaking of which, I didn't exactly rate theirs the last few times I've visited. Luvians along from Cupars was much nicer. How about Nardinis at Largs? I'm sure they still have a shop, failing that, there's the "Green Shutters" down on the front. Plenty of bike parking and the chance of a hot coffee or whatever if it's a bit crap weather wise.

There's no Nardinis shop in Largs any more but you can still get Nardinis ice cream in one of the cafes near the ferry. We'll be the only customers...

I'd prefer to stick with St.Andrews personally as the east coast is always much drier in winter than the west.

I think you'll find that there is.... I just can't be sure exactly where. I seem to remember that it was up one of the streets around the original. The cafe you mean is The Green Shutters that I mentioned - it's cosy in there.:)

Hell, statistically it's dryer outside on the east than it is indoors in the west. And don't i know it. :(

I agree with Kitty St Andrews has always been the ice cream run this is to be its 5th year

If largs is appealling then why not arrange a rideout to largs I would go to both

I'd prefer the 9th, its a break from tradition to go to Largs but i'm up for either... But ST Andrews would be prefered for me!!!

Why not go do St.Andrews to end this year/season and Largs to open the next, say end of January? :D

I'm not saying i could defo do both or either as I work 5 outta 6 weekends, makes things tricky.

9th December? Bloody 'ell best get the cold weather gear on! Wouldn't be the first time it's snowed on an SVEcosse rideout.

Ok, 9th to St Andrews is fine by me. Since it's the end of season run I'll be there rain or shine :smt103. I'll get it booked with the wife now.
