Random curvy indicators falling off
 

This has happened three times now! It's only the RHS front one too. Once when riding, twice when I came back to the bike (so could have happened as I was getting home I guess), and the indicator is hanging off by the wide, having snapped the stem just where it goes into the pod. The other three have never had a problem, but just this week, after getting home from my MoT (of all times), it's done it again. I'll have to have a rummage in the garage, but I think all my spares are gone; I've even used a wrong sided one once and swapped just the stem over. W, I ask you, TF? Anyone had this? (Like it'll help me, but you know...)

could it be your hitting it off something when your parking up at home?

Nope, I am lucky enough to have a massive garage with nowt in it.

had a look at the parts cat. looks like the curvy is a single bolt affair like aftermarket.

my guess is that the thread on the indicator stalk is fubar.

i take it that the indicator is coming away at where the hollow bolt attaches to the fairing leaving the bolt in place but the indicator is hanging off?

It's the plastic stalk that breaks. The stalk is left sticking out, the indicator body with the end of the stalk is dangling. Twice was odd but three times now is really odd.
