Pirelli Angel - Any Good?

Hi All.

I need a new rear on my Bandit 1250S Has anybody tried Pirelli Angels? Were/are they any good?

The fitter I am going to use only has that or a BT021 in stock.

Tim - I have heard good things about the Angels, but at the moment it is the Avon Storm Ultra 2s that are getting all the good press on sports tourers - have just fitted a pair myself and really like them (apart from having to change the rear for another one after 120 miles when the tread started wearing wierdly).

Would recommend the Angels over the 021s.

Not sure where you are going to get them fitted, but I would definitely recommend Russ's tyres just off Eastern Road- http://www.russtyres.co.uk/

I paid £205 for the Avons ride in/out (185/120). When I phoned him about the rear he told me to take it down and he would have a look - he was not happy with the way it was wearing so just changed it for a new one - at no charge to me (I had 3 'potholes' in the tread on the right hand side after just 120 miles).
