Replacing chain rubbing strip
Hi,
Looking to change my chain and sprokets very soon and was talking to a friend (who has a Triumph Daytona rather than an SV) and he says he needs to change his chain rubbing strip when doing his chain and sprokets. Does anyone know if, and how regularily, you need to change one of these on an SV650 and if it is difficult? Dave |
Re: Replacing chain rubbing strip
Well removing the actual rubber bit and putting a new one on is easy, the difficult bit is getting to it to take it off.
The swingarm needs to be removed. How often it needs doing im not sure. Just dont let it get down far enough to ruin your swingarm would be what i say. |
