Would 2017 front calipers be compatible with a k3
 

Hi all need to know if the tokico calipers on a 2017 sv650 would fit on a k3? They look identical in the pics?

They do look identical, however checking the parts number of the caliper from a 2017 against a K3 shows they are different. Now as for what those differences are I do not know as there are some parts that are shared.

However the question I have is why ask, I guess you have some sort of problem with your brakes and are looking to replace them?

I can't say for sure that they would fit, but I've cleaned the calipers on my 2017 Gen 3 and they seem absolutely identical in every respect to the calipers that were on my previous K6 pointy - apart from the fact that the caliper pistons on the 2017 are stainless. They were chrome plated on my K6.

Hi all I did a Wikipedia search and it states they are the same. I've left my bike sorned for 18 months and trying to get it back on the road. The pistons are seized have tried ait compressor and all sorts. I found some unused calipers on ebay from a track bike conversion going so I have taken a punt and bought them as they do returms
