Fitting rearset riser plates - Pointy?

hi all

I have a K3, and just wanted to know how easy is it to fit the rearset riser plates, does anything else need changing? or is it a simple fix.

thanks in advance

I found one of the CBR600F (can't remember the year I'm afraid) rods was long enough when I fitted lower Buell pegs.
