Suzuki Sv650s 53 Plate..
 

Hi all, after my recent post helping my friend out selling his Fazer thou, and then me putting a deposit on it myself... Im just here to guage interest in my current bike, an Sv...


I dont have any pics at the moment and will upload pics nearer the time, its not currently for sale but I plan to have it up for sale in a months time, and as I have time on my hands right now i thought i'd start it and if no interest, at least i can bump it later.

Its a 53 plate (pointy) Sv650 in the dark blue (not sure of the proper name).. and is half faired (no lowers or belly pan).

It fairly high mileage at 42k and not in the best ever condition, Ive owned this around a year now and has not let me down once.

Its not got much service history, had it serviced at 39,224 and the previous stamp was at 13,731. I was assured that the previous owners had serviced it themselves (Im the 5th owner). There is no reason not to believe the guy as the bike runs faultlessly and as I said, in the year I have had it, i have had no problems with it at all. I should also mention that I do mainly motorway miles.

At that service I had disks and pads replaced, the front disks were replaced with Galfer disks and look great.

MOT is due on June 24th 2011
Tax expires 31/08/11

Extras on the bike also (that will come with the sale) include:

Perhaps this could be a good little reliable commuter bike... I commuted well for me in and out of london?

Anyway, like I said, this is just to guage interest but will be on sale in hopefully less than two months time.

Just an update as getting lots or emails...

My friend has given me a deposit now so I consider it SOLD.

However if that falls through (he doesn't have a license yet and may decide against it) then I shall again update this thread.

Hi Trev,

2nd dibs? I am a decent gentleman so the above chap has 1st dibs but I am very interested and would like to buy the bike (+pipe and scottoiler if they're fitted already) I'm happy to put a deposit if necessary and it'd work out nicely for me as I'd look to sell my currrent steed which wouldn't be a problem as it's a sub £600 thing. I won't PM but please accept this as me registering my interest. :)

The only reason there are no pics is because my camera was dead, it's now charged and will take some pics tomorrow.

Please remember however that it's not for sale just yet.

I'm located in A village called Hildenborough in Kent for viewing/collection.

Oh and as for 1st 2nd 3rd dibs etc etc that's fine, I'll do it in order people have posted when the time comes :)

Ok, photo's uploaded and i edited the original post. The video is the top one, but now playing it back, it sounds complete rubbish, thats what you get for video in a compact camera... Oh well, but as you can see, starts first time from cold when its not been started for a week.
