Dead Bike.

Well Helga has decided that 2009 is not for her and after a lovely start with no problems yesterday she would not start this morning.

OK maybe not really true, just a warning to you all on these cold mornings. I washed the road salt off the bike last night, and I suspect that due to the -4 C temp last night its frozen some of the electrics and hey presto dead battery. The clue was the frozen ice on the rear seat.
So working from 'London Home' at the moment while it thaws.

I wasn't a proper wash, more just chuck a bucket of water over it to loose the salt build up. The bike was lookin all white and fuzzy, not a good sign.

I always ride the bike after washing it to get rid of those pesky water deposits. Best thing is not to wash it in the winter (when it needs it most).

Yep, one of those silly mistakes made by myself. Oh well, refreshed the brain to not be so silly next time.
