the unoffical clothing thread.
well seeing as I've left it quite late, and Paul seems to have his hands full (I've had stuff off him before and it's very good).
I though I'd give it a go myself, so a plain black T shirt and a zip up hoodie with a little skull logo was my starting point. Knocked up this before in Photoshop and printed it out on transfer paper http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1482534_n.jpg then onto the front of the T shirt http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7535679_n.jpg and something for the back http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8056731_n.jpg onto the Hoodie, first a skull and some barbed wire http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._5552951_n.jpg Then some bike matching decals http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...6_163410_n.jpg A few white letters added http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._6104481_n.jpg reflecting the actual engine capacity http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7026272_n.jpg Then onto the front http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7465209_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1202485_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...4_528277_n.jpg Oh and to show the like to the bike's decals http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._7745786_n.jpg Perhaps not as good as Paul's stuff, but great to do none the less. Re: the unoffical clothing thread.
How did you cut out the letters and numbers? Are they on a black background?
Looks the dogs :) |
Re: the unoffical clothing thread.
all the orange ones are from a set of bike decals and lazer cut so no no background at all, the white letters are from an alphabet sheet (cost £2.99) so no background other than te hoddie itself.

Re: the unoffical clothing thread.
the two on the T shirt are just Iron on sheet and inkjet printed, then cut out.

Re: the unoffical clothing thread.
Ahhh
So how have you got the decals to stay on? Have they just stayed on with the iron? I make a lot of my own stuff for the ferret rescue so just wanting a couple of ideas :) |
Re: the unoffical clothing thread.
yeah I done a little experimenting and a hot Iron for about 90 seconds works fine. it's very thin vinyl after all, cover with greaseproof paper and it won't stick to the iron, rub in for about a minute while it cools and peel the greaseproof off smoothly.
