Proposal for new venue.

I went to The Hawk in Battlesbridge and I think it will fit the bill nicely
Bar Food at reasonable prices plus "Specials"
Normal beer and spirit prices [1pt Bitter £2:20]
Outside seating and grass for summer evenings
Mixed crowd but populated by quite a lot of 25-35year olds
Nice bar staff and waitresses
Much much bigger inside and loads more seating
Clean, tidy[Even better than The Barge since it has been refurbished]
Big Carpark

All this and only 400yds from the old location so unless somebody has as an ace in the hole can we settle for this

Waiting in anticipation for the moans and groans but as we seem unable to decide I have taken the bull by the horns I would like to make this a major proposal for the new Friday Night venue.
Seconder please

If it's got the Dicky Ticker Seal of Approval TM, I'm happy with it. :D

When the polls are in (assuming everyone's happy with it - can't see ANY reason to complain really...) I'll update the venue details thread.

Nice one Mr McTicker.
:smt023

... But then, saying that I've not been back to the Barge to see what they've done to it.

Same here Ms.Ping...perhaps I should go round there on friday night and do a "grand re-opening" celebratory burnout outside the front door...
goes with a wine-bar doesn't it?:-dd
