Snetterton 3rd May

Track bike is finally in a state where I can think about track days.

Looking at 3rd May at Snetterton providing I can get time off work.

£99 with No Limits, anyone else fancy it?

Cool. Hopefully see you there then. Are you in inters?
After fitting my r6 throttle the the bike now ticks over at about 4k! Think some adjustments are needed heh

One of the best track days I've been on. Perfect weather, not a single red flag all day, only 20 or so bikes in each group, and the SV almost behaved itself. Even had a fan arrive to spectate.

Only downside was the strange bloke I was sharing a garage with who kept insisting I overfill my bike with oil ;)

Nice to see that the Sv is still passing the faster & bigger bikes on the corners, you did a nice couple of overtakes on the outside :smt038:smt038:smt038

Its such a fun little bike in the corners I just love it, thank you sir! I always try to be respectful of the person I am overtaking.

Re: Snetterton 3rd May

Meh

Booked into inters but decided to move down to Novice as there were half as many in that group. Felt like a god overtaking litre bikes on the outside and was thinking about asking to be moved back up at lunch.

Then on the session before lunch I very nearly highsided it. Poor throttle control and over inflated tyres. Completely destroyed my confidence and I wobbled around for the next couple of sessions, got a bit of confidence back for the last 2 sessions but wasn't riding anywhere near as aggressively as I was in session 2 and 3, although I was still overtaking a few bikes the others in the novice group had sped up too. I thought I was slow but looking at the camera, the lap times were about the same.

Think I may have learnt something lol.

Brown trouser inducing footage.

Man, you should be parading that as a Marc Marquez replica controlled slide rather than a near high side!

Re: Snetterton 3rd May

Meh. Marquez has traction control. I did it like a man!
