What happens when a stopable objects meets a resistable force.

This.

Very short vid clip of a couple days ago on the M1 when an idiot 4 cars ahead decides to drive into the side of a van carrying combustables which caught fire and exploded....
No idea if anyone was hurt or not but we were sat there for a good couple of hours while they cleaned up the mess.

Didn't get any closer for obvious reasons (there were still a lot of secondary explosions going off and the smoke was hurting my eyes from 4 cars back)

Be careful out there people :(
Only good thing about idiots like this on the road is that by the time the roads clear you have an mini ride-out of bikes at the front.

Not fancy filtering to the front of that lot then?

Haha I thought about it but the fumes from that lot were stinging bad enough from where I was, about an hour in a couple of other bikes came up and one filtered right to the front and got a right bo***king from the police for it =p

Another came up the road works (entrance was about a half mile back) and spent a little while explaining himself to the emergency services =p
That said road works were empty, it was rush hour (4pm to 6pm ish) so the tail back must have been IMENSE and given the restricted lanes filtering is near impossible when traffic is stationary so I can see why he did it, not that I condone it =p

Cool! Or not if someone was hurt. But I'd have been tempted to try to filter a bit ;)

EDIT: maybe not, just saw your last post!
