Ricado? Oh I meant to ask a while ago but is tapatalk a good app? I was looking at it the other day but wasn't too sure if it was worth the money

Viney 17-10-12 06:15 PM

Ricardo is our webhamster that keeps the site running and also a member if Selkent. As for tapatalk yes it's brilliant fir forums. The only thing you can't do is vote or create polls.

Think more of a small hamster, with shifty eyes and salt 'n pepper hair.

guernica 23-10-12 08:51 AM

Re: Where are you from?

are shifty eyes a must have for a webhamster?

Phew, that was close, any minute now Lozzo might have appeared too.

Well, you let one in and they move the whole country in.

Must think of the neighbourhood

Re: Where are you from?

Welcome to come ride in our little jungle sir... junctions every 10 metres, crazy boy racers everywhere, potholes galore, shiny gripless tarmac... no wonder we come over to blighty and mix it with your bike couriers and leave them mouth open LOL.

Re: Where are you from?

It's apparently been a while since somebody has posted in here..

Gillingham, near the Kwik-Fit on the top road. Still riding through this weather, will happily go out for a ride with anybody local.

Criggers 15-12-13 02:32 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Hey Liquid, Medway towns too? I'm up by toys r us if you ever want a jolly

LiquidFlux 15-12-13 02:36 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Yeah definitely, was looking about for any decent upcoming rideouts, kicking myself for only just now finding out about Ace's christmas presents earlier today.

Will have to see about making it up to the Pied Bull sometime soon. Drop me a PM if you're up for anything.

Criggers 15-12-13 03:34 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Well the pied bull this time of year usually shows who owns a car. Last year I was the only one who took the bike

Really...

Criggers 15-12-13 03:42 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Well the only time I went, think you was laid up Rictus. However, if Rictus does go, he's the only one on the bike lol

LiquidFlux 15-12-13 03:43 PM

Re: Where are you from?

No four wheels here, might end up being just you and I SV650 representing.

The cold is beginning to get to me though, I've popped into Hein Gericke in Maidstone most weeks recently waiting for them to restock as I'm still rocking summer gloves.

Criggers 15-12-13 03:45 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Have you tried Laguna, they usually have more stuff in there as Hein Gericke are pretty crap at the whole getting stock in for customers.

LiquidFlux 15-12-13 03:52 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Not yet, I gave Inta Motorcycles a go last week.

Was hoping the Hein Gericke would get some delivered as they won me over on customer loyalty recently, I phoned about a few places last month asking if anybody local had the pinlock fitting kits, HG ended up cleaning my lid and fitting in a Fogcity-like insert and didn't ask anything for it.

Will give Laguna a go tomorrow, ta.

Viney 16-12-13 11:35 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Lets face it, im still the only one who has an SV. All the others have defected. Its more about the people than the bikes ;)

All is welcome no matter how you arrive (ooo Er)

Sid Squid 17-12-13 12:49 AM

Road leagal ;)

LiquidFlux 19-12-13 12:47 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Gave Laguna a go, came back with heated liners, now need to install the accessory cable.

Also went out with Criggers on the SVs last Monday, when it was absolutely ****ing it down. Would happily do it again. Now waiting on a good ride out to come about, despite the weather.

SV1000 is road legal - mostly. The other two 650s are quantum legal - as in they are in an indeterminate state between legal and illegal until you get caught riding them.

LiquidFlux 29-12-13 09:54 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Yeah definitely, should arrange something.

Have been over to Sheerness via the bigger bridge a few times on a 125, definitely an interesting experience.

Here's hoping it gets a bit warmer soon.
