Your video link on here isn't working for me, but I found it by searching YouTube.

I agree, your cap and ring look really good now and the black sticker on the ring would be too much.
Nice job.
How did it get scuffed up, do you use a tank bag or was it from dangling keys?
I have my ignition key on a plastic quick release and only the key goes in the locks, the other keys go in a pocket, that way no unsightly marks around the locks.
When I get where I'm going ignition key snaps back on the quick release on the keyring.

I use a similar system to stop my keys damaging things.I use a Dog clasp and lock the keys to my Clutch cable,

and have another Key-Ring-Clasp hooked into the front of my Bike jacket so I can hook my keys there when I get off the bike.

To be honest, I don't know how it got damaged, I have very little on the bike key, before I had it, the guy before let it sit outside- a lot of her frame was rusted and corroded (hence getting it all powder coated) and paintwork needed some love. I am pleased with how it came out.

Mine is unfortunately in a sad state after the storage. Was the powder coating expensive? My frame seems to be ok, but the headstock, subframe and lower forks are in a right state.

The tank cap turned out well! Any hints on what's in the next video? :D

I had an RD350LC frame and swingarm powdercoated for £50
But that was in 1984

The powder coating was not too expensive and Imo worth doing, have a chat with the folks near you that do it and they will give you a good idea on price pretty quickly, my problem was that due to the fact much of it was very small parts, it was not viable for them to do them as a batch in their own right (some was black- like the frame) where as others were silver (the rear arm that connects to the callipers, swing arm ends etc). so I had to wait about 2 weeks as they fitted them in when doing a larger batch of the same colour.

Hint for the next video: well I have not yet recorded it so open to suggestions! I probably should get on that over the next few days! What would you like to see?
