Delkevic 350mm
Hi,
I just joined this site so this is my first post. I've had my SV650 for about 2 months now and I'm thinking about getting a Delkevic 350 mm oval stainless can. Does anyone have this on their SV? Any problems with it? Does it pop and bang on over run? Thanks. |
Re: Delkevic 350mm
Hello and welcome to the forum.
Got a Delkevic on the Mrs' bike. Built well, looks good, sounds good, loud but not offensive and was a good price. Doesn't really pop and bang though. If you want that try a Blue Flame |
Re: Delkevic 350mm
I want to avoid the pop/bang. My last bike (1998 Honda CB500) popped a lot so i put the original can back on eventually.
I want something that looks and sounds better than the standard exhaust, too big and quiet. From what you've said the Delkevic sounds like what I'm after, good price too. Thanks. |
Re: Delkevic 350mm
usually the popping and banging is due to leaks in the system.

Re: Delkevic 350mm
My Blue Flame would pop and bang like crazy with the baffle out but not with it in.

Re: Delkevic 350mm
I have a Blue Flame trioval, great can, good noise and on a yellow k1 you do get noticed.

Ring Beowulf and ask them what they've got in terms of 'seconds'. They don't advertise them, but I live about 3 miles away from them and popped in and got a can worth about 230 for 150 because 'it was scratched during manufacture'.
I couldnt see the scratch, even when pointed out to me (and yes I had the glasses on) and it looks the sh!t and certainly turns heads... Attachment 15301 |
