1st ever trackday!!

Hello fellas,
after picking up a tracked up curvy I'm off to Snetterton 300 on Monday for a novice-only day. Thought that would be the best way to experience my first time on a track.
I've got a couple of questions, bearing in mind there are 5/7 lots of 20 min sessions how much fuel should I take? I'll have 16 ltrs in the bike already so would 20 more do? I'm guessing I'll potter around the circuit doing 3.30/4 min laps??!!
Regarding tyres, the bike has Michelin Power 2CT's on, the weather looks a bit iffy on Monday, possible showers, should I leave these on for both dry and wet conditions? Doubt I'll be pushing it for my first outing.
I do have a set of scrubs and a set of wets but not on the wheels yet. Could chuck these on the van just in case I spose.

Any more advice/tips would be handy!

Cheers,
Dave

i usually do 2 tanks a trackday but then that's for a 1000cc, snetterton has a fuel station but its 50/50 whether they open it or not and its expensive, but i believe there's a fuel station close by.

Can't comment on 2ct's as i've never run them. They sometimes have a tyre guy there so take your spares just encase.

Cheers, no harm in chucking the scrubs and wets on the van.
I'll take 20ltrs with me, that should do me I reckon.

I've ridden to Snetterton from Felixstowe, about 50miles with a full tank and done the morning sessions.

Filled up at lunch time when the fuel place normally opens on the track, done the remainder of the afternoon and then ridden home with ample fuel.

The SV isn't heavy on fuel even when trashed on the track

Don't worry about the bigger bikes passing you on the straights, you'll have fun keeping up with them on the corners.

I used my Metzeler Z6's on the track in the dry, they were fine, got my knee down more than once. If its wet then stick your wets on if you want.

Trickiest bend to get right is at the end of the first straight under the bridge, as then you've got to flick it up for the immediate right hander.

Just enjoy your first one, by the end of the day you'll have a big grin on your face, but you arms & shoulders will ache from all the extra effort you're putting in

Take an extra 15 litres, that will get you through the day with some to spare. Good luck. I love that place.
