right can you get a bag that goes on the rear seat and straps down,

dont want to get a tank bag not kean on them for the reason i will be removing them every other day to fill up and would get chessed of with that lol

seen a few bikes latley with a bag thats all straped to the back of the bike and wondered if you can get the for the sv and what are peoples views on them??

Kriega US 10 or US 20 are fantastic!!
You can strap the 10 to the 20 as well (I think you can strap 3 10's to the 20)

do a search on the internet for "tailpacks". Kreiga are very good quality.

You might also like to consider my following suggestion

Topbox

dont need the rack, you can just blt the topbox to a pillion seat and click it onto the bike that way. sturdy, waterproof (100%) and more resistant to damage. And you can lock it securly, no-one can come along and knife their way in and steal anything

Mr A*hero is right.
I have a top box with the plate bolted to a spare rear seat so it takes seconds to change from Sunday ride out to weekday commuter.
Here it is fitted:

I use a Bags Connection Cargo Bag. See here: http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/SW_...onnection.html

It's easy to install and remove on the SV (4 quick release strap points - no need to remove pillion seat - anchors to rear foot plates and licence plate holder), has plenty of room, is waterproof, and is rock solid stable. I don't even know it's there.

They do a whole range of types, the Cargo Bag is soft but if you want something with a more solid frame in it then take a look at the Race Pack and Speed Pack.

You can also get an optional 'tent bag' that straps on to the top. It's a large tube-shaped bag that you can put more gear in. Doesn't have to be a tent!

I went for the Cargo Bag over panniers/tail-pack as it was a much neater solution, IMO.
