Cadwell 10th May
In case anyone's going, I'm there in the evening, blue curvy, this time I've got a pic of Dizzee Rascal covering the number plate

Re: Cadwell 10th May
Can I ask for the record why people cover number plates at track days?
|
Re: Cadwell 10th May
Its easier to take it off if its not stuck on.....otherwise taping of stuff is incase you drop your bike so stuff does not shatter and go everywhere....meaning the track is potentialy closed a shorter duration as there is less for the marshalls clear up.
My understanding anyway. Headlight glass, number plates, etc |
Re: Cadwell 10th May
also if there are people videoing/photographing and then putting them on youtube/facebook etc. so you don't end up with your number plate plastered all over the internet.

Re: Cadwell 10th May
It's at least 50% urban myth, but the last time I rode to a track I used a picture of the Crazy Frog to cover it up. Just been doing it ever since even though I take it in the truck now. Good for a laff. You misse dnothing by the way, some ******* split something at Park and three of us went down. At least it wasn't my Aprilia RSV Factory that highsided... ££££££££££££££££££

For the crash junkies:
http://trackdaydigitalimages.com/110509nbwe/ see what a titanium can does. Half way down page 2 is where the fun begins |
Re: Cadwell 10th May
Doh, thats not good......bloody fast section that as well  can just about make out a gold gsxr on page 3 that went down as well.
Did they not clear it up and wack out the lack of adhesion(sp) flag? |
Re: Cadwell 10th May
That's a black Aprilia RSV Factory, he highsided just after me. Another guy came onto the grass but kep t it shiny side up. They kept the session on for another 10 mins or so till it occurred to them to stop it and take a look, but no one else fell off.
