Just busy harking back to my youth - listening to some early ZZ Top - my fave track of theirs - 'Pearl Necklace'...most excellent!! Very early stuff - preferred their 70's contributions to music actually...mmm...*swans off into zz haze...man wow*.....

Remember them ?? La Grange is one of my ringtones  They're pretty much the first rock band I was introduced to in the 70's :D

Like them.

If you get a chance, and it's fairly likely since they seem to be constantly touring and playing just about everywhere, check out a band called The Hamsters, they cover Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top songs, and they are a blast live. They also do some of their own stuff, good blues/rock music.

Mudge - I think La Grange was the first thing I ever heard of theirs...I was in Norway sometime last century  , busy sampling the local delights and their was some band performing in the club...they knocked out this incredible sound that turned out to be their version of La Grange...brilliant.
