Bike MEGAMEET! This Sun 19th.
All,
I highly recommend that you head to Popham this sunday, as it is the Megameet! There are usually a good 1000 bikes of all ages and makes that come along for this. Entertainment, MCN, stalls of all sorts are also there, as well as a parachute display and planes galore for those who decide to fly in! http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/454...2007xm9.th.jpg I didn't go last year, but have been the 3 years before that! Hope to see you there!! |

Would that be Popham just off the M3?

I can see a trip coming on for Sunday. I notice on thier website that it says motorcycles only. I assume this doesn't mean for visitors. Feel stupid for asking but there we are. |

All Welcome, and yes it's just off the A303 (which is just off the M3!)
Bikes have their own separate bike park in the field - stand pucks are usually given, but if u have one, take it along! Cars have the car park! And if you want to try flying, contact Airbourne Aviation, they may be able to do trial lessons (Microlights) at a cheap price! |

Sounds like a good excuse for a ride... if the weather is nice I may head down.
EDIT: Just confirmed the day off so I'll stop in - if anyone is keen I will be leaving from Egham and head up to Foxs first for Breakfast and then down to Poham for lunch and a look about. If time is still available prob on to Boxhill for a cuppa and home late in the afternoon. |
