NWR6 (North Wales Rideout) 23/24/25th April Discussion
 

Hello Folks!

Well it's almost 12 months since the last North Wales Rideout and it's time to start thinking of the next one. The ORG calender is already fairly congested for 2010, which is a great thing, but makes planning NWR6 a little tricky. I have two dates in mind, 6 months apart!

• April 23/24/25 the weekend before May bank holiday and exactly 12 months after NWR5 so has a certain symmetry to it. This is a fortnight before the Plan o'Man Isle of Man rideout, so might rule out some folks going to that on cost or time grounds.
• September 3/4/5 (maybe 10/11/12) the weekend after August Bank Holiday so folks can make a week of it if they want. This is a month after the AR, so it is clear of any other large event.

I don't want to start a poll or get commitments from people to come, just a feel for what would be most welcome - an early ride or a season closer :D I have my views on each but am happy to hear other points of views.

I know it must be difficult planning this with your forthcoming house sale, so extra thanks are very much in order.

April preferably, simply because it's closer than September:D

Are you thinking of using the same accommodation as the last couple? If so, can we have first dibs on the second double room?

I`ll fit in with whichever of the dates proves more popular.

Either of the September ones would fit in with my birthday and would therefore save you the cost of having to take me out for a meal :D

Wahey another NW rideout! :D

I'd prefer September meself Mike, cos 2 of my mates turn 30 in April so the two weekends previous to the April dates you mentioned I'm doing big (and therefore expensive!) days out for their birthdays & won't have the money for a rideout weekend as well.

A bunkhouse would be good for accomodation again, though that's probably a given. I didn't make it to NW4 or 5 but the ones we used on 3 & 3.5 were both great.

EDIT must have been posting at the same time as SC - a rideout weekend in honour of a .Orger's birthday sounds like a great idea too 8)

Would be April for me... as i am in vegas that firsrt weekend in sept....

Not sure if Helen would be coming along with me and if there is only two double rooms and pete/lisa have dibs on the other then are there other places to book into around the area??

Same - both are feasible for me, but I'd prefer the September date. I was going to ask to see if it was too early to say woohoo, but I'm obviously way behind the curve ;)

If it was in September then we would probably deffo make it. Been a while since I've done an NW.
