We did I think John. 10am in the car park in Dolanog or 10.40am at the dam at Lake Vyrnwy. There's a rough parking area by the toilets on the far side of the dam which will be visible to anyone crossing it.

Mmm, not sure what the post code is John, but the toilet block and rough parking is right by the end of the dam. It's there in front of you as you come off the actual dam.

Sorry Gary I meant Dolanog but I found the car park with the toilet block. I'll go for that.

If the weather is looking good I'll be leaving about 5:30am.

Trying to decide if I want a 2.5 hour journey with lots of motorway or 3+ hours of more interesting roads. Bearing in mind I'll be doing that journey to get home too and the days riding once there. Possibly 10+ hours of riding in the day.:???:

It'll be a long old day Adam. I'm about to do the same thing myself in a couple of weeks time as I'm riding up to Kendal to meet a friend for a day's riding in the Lakes and the Forest of Bowland.

5.30 should be easily early enough to leave as we're not meeting till 10am here in the village or 10.40am at Lake Vyrnwy.

It looks like work is going to allow me to come out and play too. Will probably head to the meeting spot at Lake Vrynwy as that's nearest for me.
