Chippy Run 2011 - Sunday 5th June
 

Well, seeing as the weather is looking good now it has inspired me to look at google maps & arrange the Chippy Run 2011.
I am having a change of route this year & also going back to the half day rideout that I did on the 1st one. The route I have picked is just over 90 miles & as usual will be a bit of a bimble & introduction to rideouts for those that dont want to do the marathon 300 milers.

Here is the provisional route, it will be on a Sunday & will start at J&S in Northwich & take in Broxton Butty Van & The Raven Cafe. Hopefully if the weather is good there will be plenty of bikers at both locations.

I am going to do a recce shortly, but thinking about the 1st week in June. Comments (good or bad) will be welcomed :) I thank you.

Ok people I have done the recce this morning, hope the weather is as nice for the run (bit chilly, but dry)
Looks like Sunday 5th June is the date. the route changed just slightly to make it easier to keep us together. Not like last years poo shodden roads :)

The Raven cafe was busy today. There was a classic bike meet on. I left there at around 9.15 & there were plenty about.

Woohoo, wife is off work that weekend, might actually get to have a rideout.

This is definitely a good intro to rideouts, I'm definitely up for this (yes OK I'm up for pretty much ANY trip to a chippy but this is with good company too!)
Can't wait.
