2005 Honda VFR VTEC 28511 miles, Maxton suspension

Finally got round to selling my silver VFR.

I have owned this bike since June 2007, previously it was a dealer bike and had 160 miles on the clock when I bought her. I have ridden this bike around Europe and UK and it has never missed a beat, always starts first time and is a very reliable bike.

It has a full service history, with one oil service by myself, all others by reputable motorcycle workshops. The 28K mile service has just been completed by A&D Motorcycles and a she has a brand new MOT. A Scottoiler was fitted from about 200 miles. A Fenda Extenda has been fitted since 2007 to keep more road mess off the engine. She has almost new Avon Storm Ultra tyres with little wear (see photos).
All receipts and MOTs come with the bike. She comes with Rear Seat Cowl, Rear Handle blanking kit, Honda Tank Protector, Handbook, Service Book and Spare Key. Honda HISS security and Acumen Cat 1 alarm, both plipers for the alarm are included.

The bike also has a Maxton rear shock fitted and the forks have been revalved and resprung by Maxton which improve the ride on bumpy B-roads and improves the handling. That is £800 worth of suspension upgrade with this bike.
R&G through the frame crash bungs are fitted to protect the radiators in the event of a spill, not tested!

The bad bits, there is a scratch on the nearside fairing from a light drop in my garage, bike landed on my leg and the crash bung.(see photo) There is some scratching of the exhaust below the fairing due to grounding while cornering, but I don't have a photo. There is a small mark on the rear pod from luggage being strapped on (see photo).

Bike is currently SORN.

The bike is on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...STRK:MESELX:IT

I'm looking for £2800 from an orger or take your chances on Ebay! :D

Thanks Andy,

You still could have it, an extra £200 and you can have it with panniers fitted, ideal for that Euro trip you want to do... (cos everyone wants to! :D )
