I guess it makes sense to start a list so that when we have a date we can try to book the whole bunkhouse if we have enough people. I believe it sleeps 15.

Saves on bringing the tent & stuff. I managed to sleep through DickyTickers snoring, no one could top that, plus I'm too old for sleeping on hard lumpy ground.

Just need to know the date so I know I can make it this year

Had another chat with the proprietor and the likely numbers should not be a problem.
Please book with the campsite yourselves letting them know it's with the SV650.org for AR14.
The bunk house availability is shown on other hikers / cyclists web sites and will now appear as unavailable this is for us, so just book.

Thanks chap, booked over the phone

What sort of food arrangements need to be made? Are there cooked meals available at the campsite or is there somewhere nearby worthy of some beers and grub?

Two cafes and a tea room in the village as well as the Cheviot Hotel which opened early to do breakfasts last year for the UKGSers forum. I'll be speaking with them on Saturday about menus and prices etc. Meals also available at another of the local up market hotels. Three Pubs in the village all nice and friendl, plus a Co-Op for tins and bottles. More details to follow.
