Best paint remover

I have a ally MTB frame i want to strip and repaint. I used nitromors years ago and it was great but these days the dichloromethane has been removed and it is absolute rubbish.
Does anyone have any experience with using a paint remover that is readily available that actually works like the old nitromors used to?
A google search shows there are lots of options but all are dichloromethane free and have no reviews.

Thanks

Have you tried acetone?

Or brake fluid?

I tried brake fluid removing the paint off of some calipers for my 2MA. I was disappointed overall by the result. And if your trying to remove the paint from something that size I think you might run into trouble.

My advise, blast it. If you don't have the equipment yourself (compressor, gun, media) or don't fancy buying it there is more than likely to be a firm on an industrial estate near you that can assist.

Don't bother with anything else, PS buy some kind of breathing equipment from b&q.

It is so so fast at removing the paint, literally, paint it on with a brush.
It will fall off, I used it for doing a bike frame and taking powdercoat off wheels with.

Contains both Dichloromethane and Phenol, enjoy.

Cheers guys. Ordered some of that stuff off ebay Purity, looks nasty. Blasting was an idea but i've always just done it myself with nitromors. Haven't done a push bike build since i was a kid so looking forward to a little project that doesn't involve an engine and loads of time and money.

I was going to say blackfriars. I did the SV wheels with it, as nitromorse was rubbish. It's self neutralising and doesn't drip.

But as you have bought something else...

Synstryp is better than blackfriars, sorry dizzy :)

Just read up on the synstryp
For trade and industrial use only, will remove skin on contact, if inhaled can cause blindness and respitory distress leading to death. Banned in EU for personal use due to large number of deaths.
Must be pretty good then.

Yeah, its awesome, and works a charm on pretty much anything.

Ensure you have loads of ventilation, wear a mask, wear eyewear, wear gloves, wear a long sleeved top and cover up all your skin.

Don't think you know better, because when your dead, you wont know very much at all.
