Should diplomatic immunity be applied to killing people whilst driving on the wrong side of the road? |
Re: Diplomatic immunity
Diplomatic immunity is the most abused privilege of all, but it should not mean immunity from punishment for criminal actions..

No way should this apply but sadly agree with maviczap that politics will take care of this. Not fair a young life was taken so carelessly however have seen experience of this the other way too.
I work in social care sector and years ago seen a couple of young woman "honeytrap" a diplomat by opportunity not design, they took a watch worth Łk's same in currency and some papers he instructed police not to record this just retrieve papers. Always knew he was a Jimmy Saville type as both were 15 at time but police despite concerns were limited to retrieval of papers. Sadly this immunity seems to look like might end up same way being hid behind politics with no satisfaction for family. |
Re: Diplomatic immunity
I hope that her name and address is published 'somewhere on the internet' so that everyone knows what she did. Photos, journalists camped on the front lawn, husband hounded by the press, his bosses asked awkward questions - the whole nine yards.
Its bad enough that they killed someone through negligence, but to then run away from facing the consequences makes you special kind of heartless bitch. |
