Right, I have two seemingly working silver buttons. Just found out that Olympus used three different lens threads. So this project is on how until I source a pair of donor cameras. The black button is being weird, in auto mode the meter chooses the aperture, but auto still seems to be working in manual mode.

Car boot rummage today, Fujica ST605 and a Voigtlander Perkeo. The ST is now wearing a Fujinon 55mm f2.2 that I was given.

The Perkeo is very clean.

Can't imagine why my Kiev rangefinder didn't work....https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...603db79295.jpg

It should be one continuous piece. I suddenly decided to bite the bullet and do the shutter swap. All back together but I forgot to latch the self timer lever in the shutter, I don't use it anyway so no biggie.

Wow, you've been busy! Good score at the car booty. What lens on the Perkeo?

As above, looks like you had a really busy weekend on the repair front.
Two good finds at the car boot too. I like that Fujica; nice and tactile.

Vaskar f4.5 75mm. It's basically the same as the one you serviced, only much tidier, I nearly missed it, it was tucked in a box mixed in with some projectors. The guy wanted another fiver for the hood and filter but I ran out of cash. It wasn't too bad in the end, the rf was totally bored as the whole thing is glass. It seems good in terms of calibration so I'll shoot with it at some point.

How have you found working on the Kievs? Some day I'll need to tackle my Contax

Re: Vintage film cameras

Easy, the Contax is pretty much the same. There was a guide I read earlier about the Contax and pretty much identical. If you are taking the shutter out you will need a soldering iron for the pc contact. I kept getting the flash wire wedged under the mech. What's up with yours?
