Already 10 days into the month so I'll try to make this easy and encourage as many contributions as possible.
Theme is red. The photo can be of anything at all as long as a key element of the composition is red.
Somewhere on the forum, there must be a red SV...

The little red Caboose.

Until recent years, the last rail car on every train in North America.
The caboose served several functions, one of which was as an office for the conductor.
A printed "waybill" followed every freight car from its origin to destination, and the conductor kept the paperwork in the caboose.

No longer required on trains, almost every small town along the railroad now has one sitting in a park.
This one, freshly painted, resides in Gretna, Virginia, US.
