MiniTwin build rules.

I am nearly finished building my MiniTwin for next year, but could do with a little help regarding what is expected with scrutineering.
I understand the rules regarding engine/suspension, but what other items are required, rain light?, catch pan?, rounded footpeg bungs?!!!.
Cheers.

Hi
Best place to look for all the safety bits, is ACU handbook. That will tell you what you need to do.
Cheers

Rain lights regs have been tightened up recently, make sure yours is obvious, that the light is spread over a range of angles not just dead on. After all its supposed to stop you getting rear ended, worth doing it proper!

If you have a set of fairings, just makes sure that there a no holes low down, if in doubt add some fibreglass to ensure it could hold the fluid contents of your engine.

Otherwise, work with the scrutineers on the day, they want you to race and will help as much as possible!

Cheers Redmist.

Have a rain light waiting to be fitted ill keep this info in mind.

Annoyingly I cut the fairings to make them easier to fit which has compromised there fluid holding abilities, looks like the fibre glass will be coming out some time soon!.
