Who works in IT?
 

Being a web-based forum and all I imagine there'd be some IT types in attendance, but I'm curious to know the percentage... cast your votes if you'd be so kind!

I'm pretty sure most people work with computers, I'm talking about those of us who are in support, development, training and (I include this reluctantly) sales.

I didn't realise our IT Sales people actually new anything about IT

Not strictly in IT, but the company is a Technologies and Procurement Company (E-commerce) and my role is affiliated very closely to IT. Hense why i moved offices the other month into my own office. The IT Manager is based in the office next to mine.

Im learning mainly about purchasing, E-sourcing, E-bid, E-Auction, Electronic Payment Gateways (G.E P-Card),

We also work closely with C1 India.

I'm a SQL server bod and general systems architect for a Rolls Royce owned company.
