Anyone got either of these similar price armoured jeans so just looking which is best.

I recently crashed wearing some £35 aramid-lined jeans that I bought from eBay a few years back (they come with removable armour for the knees and hips).

OK, my crash was at around 35mph so it wasn't mega high-speed. But I went down HARD on both knees and slid on the knees for quite a distance. The denim tore in a 50p-sized hole over the impact point on the knee, but the aramid remained completely intact. And the armour pad took the main force of the impact (my kneecap was bruised black & blue but not broken).

Maybe expensive £100+ jeans do ultimately offer better protection, but the £35 cheapie eBay ones didn't let me down, and offer miles better protection than ordinary jeans. I can ping you the link to the eBay shop if you like, I recently bought another pair.

Yeah I don't mind going through town in the cheapies but wouldn't want to press on wearing them.

Gone for something completely different Bull-it veloce ce2 rated to 8 seconds look okay and were on special at SBS for £99 down from £239.
