Back Rest.

Anyone seen any backrest options for the K4? I know corbin makes one for most models but they dont seem to have one available for the SV's. Ive seen the givi saddle bag setup with the trunk which has a back rest on it but i think thats a little overkill.

Thanks!

Do you really mean a backrest, like on a cruiser/Harley?

sounds worse than a top-box, eh jonboy?

I guess i am. The wife asked about it because she does not find much support on the rear seat. I'm open to any other suggestions.

I seriously doubt that anyone, anywhere in the world, would make one for the SV. It's just not that kind of bike :?

What's wrong with her using the grab-rail like everyone else? Tell her to cross her hands behind her, so her palms face backwards, and then grab the rail. That way she'll be stable* under both acceleration and braking.

[* does not include situations of near-vertical wheelies or one-handed rolling stoppies - neither of which are big or clever and I'm sure you don't do  ]

I'm not sure if she has tried the grab rail on a long ride yet, I'm never really paying attention to it when im riding. I suppose we'll try come spring time.

Do you realise the pain that image brings on?

Atae: The pillion handles/belt is excellent and I suggest the best way forward.
