Mark, what do you want your bike to be good at? Same as your current bike-weekend blasts, training, having fun.

Buggered if I know. Hence I've had this one for the last 6 years.

As has been said before it's not actually good at anything but is a laugh

Tried a Tuono a while back. Felt a bit like I was sat "on it" rather than "in it"

All a bit remote

Is there not a KTM dealer down your way from which you could wrangle a test ride?

Hey all, I just signed up to this forum and done the obligatory noob thread here: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=203007

As I live in Woking so I thought I would say hello in here, I'm guessing you guys have local meet ups/rideouts? Don't mind tagging along sometime if that's ok? :smt045

We've talked about this Gav, let the new ones develop a false sense of security first. Then do your thing when they least expect it.

I completely forgot about the shotgunning in the other thread. DAMMIT!

Welcome again, Shereen. All newbies welcome. We normally meet at Loomies in Petersfield, but sometimes Station Cafe in Alton, Holiday Inn Basingstoke, Blackbushe Cafe near Yateley and that's the most of them.
