60°F/16°C March 13 Cleethorpes

Took the SV out for a ride in this incredibly mild weather (for mid March). The intermittent sunshine was nice but it was very blustery which took some of the fun away.
Due to my latest charging worry (I have to worry about something) I added a voltmeter and recorded 14.6V most of the ride with a blip to 14.8V in the first mile. This corresponded to when my single LED monitor would flash red. Looks like I will need something else to worry about. :)

I could give you a few things to worry about but will resist<grin> ;-)

BTW.

I used to like going to Cleethorpes when it had the Motorcycle bay on the front and get a bag of chips and a cup of tea. They've effed it up now as it's gone and a ,"Loading Bay" in place of it :smt022

They removed the bike parking a while back, I don't know why, bikes have always been around that area. Bikers would either visit the Hawaiian Eye cafe (Hawaii? really?) or risk The Submarine pub (no longer there, fortunately).

The latest local debacle is the new RNLI building which is at the other end (south) of the Promenade. Unlike the current building it will be set on the beach, unfortunately the builders went bust after inserting some piling. Apparently, they have found new builders but whether the predicted £3 million cost includes the change hasn't been made clear. (RNLI are paying for it). I think it was supposed to be finished 2 years ago.
