But possibly dropped in the UK, Rob ;)

Mike, this is the link to a thread of mine on the Ducati site.

http://www.ducatisti.co.uk/forum/duc...box-shaft.html

It's on here too ,but at the end of my Ducati thread in Talks and Issues.

Still no judgement on what caused it though.

Bike MOTd.. New bearings top and bottom in the headstock, new fork oil and seals and a big bill, though nothing like Pete and Lissa's.

At least that means I'll be on the rideout (as long as it isnt too cold!).

It's all relative Sean :)

Good news on getting the MOT fairly easily :thumleft:. That bike of yours eats fork oils though, doesn't it?

It maybe too cold, the way the weather is, in fact buying a snowmobile might be a wise move

They didn't need doing for the MOT, but I'd noticed one was leaking just the tiniest bit of oil... For the sake of a couple of seals, I'd much rather have had them done than take any chances.

Yes it is all relative.. I've spent 3/4ths of a months wages making sure vehicles are road worthy, but I get so much pleasure out of the bike that it's worth it in the end.

Who knows, I might not need to MOT it again if things go my way, but if I do, I won't grumble too much because its worth it.

As for snow mobile, **** that. :p
