Chain Slider
1 Attachment(s)
Ive taken my swingarm off to check and grease the bearings and to give everything a good clean while ive got the time. Is this normal for the chain slider to be looking like this (apart from it being dirty) or should I get a new one especially as im changing the chain and sprockets aswell and going 1 tooth down on the front sprocket so the chain will be closer to the chain slider? Where is best to buy a new one from? Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

Re: Chain Slider
I'm sure more Knowledgeable people will be around soon but i think it's a sacrificial part, so it depends how much meat is left on it. If it's about to wear through change it, if not clean and leave

Re: Chain Slider
Think that looks pretty normal but obviously if you run your chain slack it'll take more punishment. I think it's one of those that wears a lot initially and then settles down to a much slower wear rate....

Re: Chain Slider
Thanks for your replies, ill give it a good clean and just make sure its not nearing to touching the swingarm but ill just make sure the chain stays tight
