September Photo Comp.

Ok.........after finding myself the rather lucky winner last month, I guess I had better give you all a new theme!

After thinking long and hard, I decided the theme shall be:-

"Desolate"

So........we're talking devoid of people like a desolate wilderness, desolate house, desolate valley, desolate farm......you know what the word means, so interpret as you see fit and I can't wait to see the photo's as they're always fantastic!

Good luck guys :smt003

Here's mine, nice choice of topic for the month, given the varying definitions of the word I decided to opt for:
Quote:

"lay waste to: cause extensive destruction or ruin utterly; "The enemy lay waste to the countryside after the invasion"
A rather niche image but I like it, one of the few favourites I've taken that I'm in :D

Taken in a WWII ruined building near Whitchurch, Shropshire.
